The Oroblanco grapefruit lacks the tartness found in most grapefruit varieties. The flesh is without any color beyond its pale yellow tones. This grapefruit lacks acidity, making it much sweeter than other varieties. Its flesh is tender, juicy, seedless and sweet with a large hollow core.

As with all varieties of grapefruit, the Oroblanco contains loads of the antioxidant-rich vitamins C and A and dietary fiber.
